Installation guide

Preview release: fresh-account installation is awaiting real-account acceptance. Use it with your authorized administrator. Windows and automatic upgrades are not supported in this version.

  1. Prepare your computer and account

    Install Node.js 24, Oracle JDK 17 or 21, and the official Oracle SuiteCloud CLI 4.1.1. Your administrator enables the required SDF, scripting, Custom Records and OAuth features and provides inventory and deployment permissions.

  2. Verify and extract the ZIP

    Compare its SHA-256 with this page, extract it, and open a terminal in the DocLayerPrivateBeta folder. No repository checkout or pnpm is needed.

  3. Check your tools and sign in

    node installer/installer-cli.ts doctor

    Replace EXACT_ACCOUNT_ID and ENVIRONMENT in the commands below. Choose PRODUCTION, SANDBOX or RELEASE_PREVIEW to match that exact account. Authentication opens Oracle's sign-in flow on your computer.

  4. Review the plan and validate

    Plan is read-only. Check the account and environment, and continue only when validation reports zero errors and warnings. If blocked, stop and ask your administrator; do not remove existing objects to continue.

  5. Confirm installation and finish setup

    After your administrator approves deployment to that exact account, copy the complete confirmation phrase from plan into the quoted value below.

    Installation starts with record deployments disabled. Open DocLayer's Setup Center to configure authorization, storage and permissions and test an upload. Record activation is a separate administrator step.
